UNIL – Frontiers Gold Open Access Agreement 2024: quota has been reached

The quota for covering the Open Access Costs (APC) for Frontiers gold journals under the agreement between UNIL and Frontiers (2022-2024) has been reached.

The 10% discount is no longer applicable and the UNIL Gold Fund does not cover these costs.

There is no guarantee that a new agreement will be concluded in 2025. Until further notice, the publication charges (APCs) in these journals are now to be paid by the CHUV/FBM UNIL/Unisanté affiliated authors.

The average APC for a research article in a Frontiers category 4 journal is USD 3,495.
