The new library is taking shape on the other side of the Rue de Bugnon https://goo.gl/maps/ezsrh1m8LXE2. A team from the Library was able to visit the construction site at the beginning of June and we take the opportunity to share here some pictures of the building in construction.

A workgroup is currently studying the interior design and layout of the new premises, in order to be able to offer you a pleasant and convenient place for study and research. The new library will have three floors, with one of them also hosting three FBM-UNIL practical classrooms and the AEML spaces.

The mixed building, a property of the City of Lausanne, will house various businesses and apartments. You can visit the website of the architects to find out more about the project.

We will share more information about the progress of the construction here until we will move to the new building. The intended date of the move is estimated for the second half of 2019.
