“Psychological impact of an epidemic/pandemic on the mental health of healthcare professionals” : Library collaboration on a publication

The Library’s research team participated in the rapid review conducted by Prof. Antje Horsch, Dr. Suzannah Ravenscroft (Stuijfzand) and colleagues of the Lausanne Perinatal Research Group :  Psychological impact of an epidemic/pandemic on the mental health of healthcare professionals: a rapid review“.

The authors concluded that health care professionals exposed to working with patients during an epidemic/pandemic are at increased risk of both short- and long-term mental health problems. This publication provides a synthesis of factors that predict this impact and prevention/intervention strategies to reduce this impact.
